This week in Disney News, Disney’s announced they’ll be remaking their 1997 animated classic, Hercules. Dispute our mixed feelings over the remakes, we’re actually really excited to see how they update this one!
This week, we talk about a group of 50-year-old cats…okay, you caught me. That was a bit salacious. What I meant to say is that this week we talk about the 1970 classic Aristocats, which turns 50 this year.
Despite some shortcomings, Aristocats is a wealth of Disney history and interesting fun facts. Who would’ve guessed it’s loosely based on a true story? Did you know O’Malley was originally supposed to be a tabby cat? Learn about this and more! (This feels a little infomercially…but wait, there’s more! 🤣)
