Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney. This week we’re going to talk all about the Muppets, but first, there’s some news to share!
This week in Disney News, Disney World announced this year’s Christmas party, Disney Very Merriest After Hours Event. This 4 hour event will even have…wait for it…fireworks! Yay!
Also, for the holidays, Disney’s bringing back projection mapping for the holidays in Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. Gingerbread houses will also be returning to resorts.
And now for this weeks topic: the Muppets! Muppets are so much more than puppets. They have such a long and crazy history, we decided to do a whole episode about them, and we just scratch the surface. In this episode, we, of course, talk about Jim Henson and how he eventually worked his creations, the Muppets, into a cultural phenomenon. Have you ever wondered how a Muppet is controlled? We answer that question for you! From there, we discuss how Disney got involved and ended up eventually acquiring the Muppets.
